Sound Academy Completed

Thomas and I had the pleasure of attending the Sennheiser Sound Academy focusing on RF Wireless. In layman’s terms we sat for 7 hours learning about the in and outs of radio frequencies when setting up a large wireless microphone setup. There was also a great deal covered on reading a spectrum analyzer which is a must when setting up and professional system especially now with all the Digital TV floating through our airwaves. All of this is a step towards our dedication in continued education so we can provide our clients with the best Audio Visual Productions.

No commentsGOBO’s are not just for Monograms…

Just finished another lighting job over at the Davis Island Garden club. This event was produced by Table Six Productions. The color of choice as it often is was pink. we washed the entire inside of the DIGC with pink using over 14 LED Color Washes. Outside we used 6 LED Par cans and 2 Leko’s to project break out pattern Gobo’s. We utilized the existing overhead ledges to keep the lights out of the way of the guests. As you can see, Gobo’s don’t have to be used to project your initials or date. They can also be used to add an abstract pattern to a normally plain floor. Today we went with an abstract break out pattern gobo together with a blue gel to match the couples colors of blue and pink.
We also brought out our self contained mister fans. These units will cool an area for 4-6 hours on a full take of water. They are great for any outdoor event allowing guests to have a cool down zone.
No commentsTPC Top Sponsor For MPI Event

We just finished the MPI awards Gala at the Hilton Clearwater. TPC was one of the top sponsors of the event by donating over $5000 in equipment and service for the event. We promise to have more pictures up soon of all of our lighting and stage design. Big thank you to IM events for providing the color panels on stage which complemented our white truss sticks and acrylic podium.
No commentsWash an Entire Patio With Color…

It never ceases to amaze the many benefits to using LED’s. On May 29th 2009 we set out to light up an outside patio at the Davis Island Garden Club in Tampa, Fl. The goal was to light the entire patio in pink while keeping the lights off the floor so guests weren’t tripping over wires and such. Another major issues is the fact that the DIGC is an older building with very little power for lighting. LED’s to the rescue as usual. We used the existing ledges over the door to set 7 LED Par 64 Cans which transformed the white patio into the pink the client wanted. Together with the patio we spruced up the inside with some LED Batten’s and of course our Custom Gobo for the Bride and Groom.
No commentsLike a Red Rose… LED Wedding Lighting and Custom Gobo’s

Another Wedding over at the Magnolia Building in Lakeland FL. TPC set over 20 LED fixtures throughout the room as well as the custom GOBO. Another continued benefit to using LED’s is the fact that they pull very little power which is great for an older building such as the Magnolia center because they power wouldn’t handle standard PAR Can lights. Later on in the evening we set the lights to color chase to the music. Definitely an awesome event. Big thank you to Kellie with Kellie Day Photography and Brittany with Schaffer Video for bring us on for this event.
No commentsWedding Lighting…What a difference it can make!

On April 4th 2009 The Production Crew together with R-J Vida with Advance Entertainment had the pleasure of providing the lighting for the LittleJohn Wedding at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club in Temple Terrace, FL. TPC provided over 16 LED fixture’s including Color Dash strips and LED Par 64 lights. We also provided the custom Gobo which was projected on the stage in between our pink wall wash. The Dance floor was lit from the sides with a pink abstract breakout patterns to give the space a modern look but still tying together the entire pink theme. Jackie with Table Six Productions was responsible for all the white fabric attached from the ceiling. Taking all of these elements and awesome entertainment from R-J Vida with Advance Entertainment the event truly was a huge success.
No comments2009 Verizon Wireless Kick Off Event

It’s a new year and with new years come some of the biggest and best kick off events. This year’s 2009 Verizon Wireless kick off event was held at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center in Orlando FL. TPC together with a collaborated effort with Bayshore Sound produced this years event. We went for a very modern but yet simple design for the stage including a large rear projection screen and 6 sticks of vertical truss up-lit with red LED’s. Together with the lighting and video TPC also provided all of the wireless sound.
We also were able to get involved in creating a new vendor booth for RIM. Together with our live talent there booth was definitely not missed. We are excited to continue to work with such a great company.
No commentsDr. Pepper’s ACC Championship Party

TPC had the pleasure of providing all of the lighting and sound for Dr. Pepper’s ACC Championship pre party produced by Eventions of Florida at the Tampa Convention Centers River walk.
Together with the use of traditional Par Cans and LED washes we were able to create a dramatic effect for an area that usually has little to no lighting at night. We also used several vertical sticks of truss to hang various lights to accent the band and project custom GOBO’s. The event was based around a calypso style. We used fiery reds and oranges to accent the event.
